NHL Note - Calgary Flames Bennett, Sam
Dec 10, 2017 - 9:32 AM F Sam Bennett started the season in a horrific slump, but he's streaking now. Bennett, who did not register a point in the first 15 games of the season, scored the winning goal with 1:10 remaining on Saturday as the Flames doubled the Vancouver Canucks 4-2. Bennett skated out from the corner and put a backhand past Canucks goalie Anders Nilsson for his fourth goal of the season. He has 11 points in 30 games, including three goals and five assists in his past seven. "This feels good," the 21-year-old said. "Obviously, I want to help our team win by producing and that's part of my game. It definitely feels good now."No one has shouted yet.
