NHL Note - New York Islanders Barzal, Mathew
Dec 24, 2017 - 8:50 AM C Mathew Barzal recorded his first career hat trick in Saturday's 5-2 victory over Winnipeg. Barzal scored twice in the first period and completed his hat trick by scoring with 8:37 left. At 20 years, 211 days old, the rookie is the youngest Islanders player to record a hat trick since current New York captain John Tavares did so at 20 years and 117 days on Jan. 15, 2011.No one has shouted yet.
