2022-23 Preseason: Sharks cut 14 players from training camp
Sep 26, 2022 - 9:40 PMFollowing last night’s preseason opening victory over the Los Angeles Kings, San Jose Sharks general manager Mike Grier announced this afternoon that 14 players have been cut from the team’s training camp. Of those 14 players, four were on an amateur tryout agreement (ATO) and will be returned to their juniors club. An additional three Sharks prospects were returned to their respective juniors clubs, and seven players were assigned to the San Jose Barracuda’s AHL training camp.
The training camp roster is now composed of 50 players (26 forwards, 16 defenders, 8 goaltenders). The next preseason game is on Tuesday, Sept. 27, at SAP Center against the Anaheim Ducks.
