Our Favorite Team returns from Buffalo to Newark tonight. They will host the team who decisively won at the Rock right before a winning streak began to blaze through Detroit, Colorado, Columbus, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Ottawa, Arizona, and Montreal. Revenge should absolutely be on the table tonight.

The Song of the Night: One of my favorite albums from this year is Fleshwater’s We’re Not Here to be Loved. The side project of Vein.FM takes a lot of inspiration from the 1990s grunge from the haziness to the depth of bands like Deftones’ White Pony, early Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters’ first album, and definitely Hum. This is not to say this is soft. No, it hits hard and it is quite memorable. The single “The Razor’s Apple” is an excellent introduction. Go listen to the album, by the way.
