Best Picks for the 2022 Hollywood Casino 400

Kyle Larson won this event in 2021, following a 2020 year where Joey Logano took it home. Typically held in October, this event has been moved up in the rotation this season.

Unlike we saw in Darlington last week, which featured a unique turn-twisting track, Kansas Speedway offers a 1.5-mile tri-oval course that drivers will be more familiar with. Will another long shot take the top spot? Let’s take a closer look.

Top 3: Kyle Larson | +220 at DraftKings Sportsbook

Following a 12th-place finish last week, Larson is due for some regression back to the top of the leaderboard this week in Kansas. Currently, +800 to win the race outright, Larson led the most laps of anyone in this race last season, finishing runner-up before it was all said and done.

In his last seven starts at this track, Larson has five top eights and four top fours and is due to punching through into the top three. One of his favorite tracks of the season; look for him to do well here.

Top 3: Denny Hamlin | +165 at DraftKings Sportsbook

With multiple wins here over the past few seasons, including 2019, Hamlin finished fourth here in the spring circuit and is one of the most dominant drivers in this course’s history. He also comes into the week with four straight top-six finishes on intermediate tracks and is set up well for a high finish here at Kansas Speedway.

Add in a second-place finish last week, and Hamlin has all the makings of a top-three finish.
