NASCAR at Charlotte Motor Speedway: Bank of America Roval 400 Betting Odds, Picks &; Predictions (2022)

With his victory last weekend, Chase Elliott surged back to the top of the NASCAR playoff rankings. As expected the circuit’s best road driver is now expected to get right back to the winner’s circle this weekend in Charlotte.

Coming into the week, Elliott now leads the Bank of America ROVAL 400 odds board and the NASCAR Cup Series Standings by two points, as he looks to extend his lead on a course he knows well.

Let’s take a closer look at how this one might shake out in Charlotte as the round of 12 comes to a close.

NASCAR at Charlotte Motor Speedway: Bank of America Roval 400

Top 3: Tyler Reddick | +180 at DraftKings Sportsbook

Chase Elliott gets the highest odds to win this race at +500, which is not surprising considering that he has won half of the races at Roval. Quietly lying under the radar, however, is  Tyler Reddick who has the second-best odds at +600. I’m not the least bit surprised based on his recent performance on road courses, which includes this race from the previous year.

Last year, Reddick placed second in the Roval, and this year, in addition to competing for the victory at COTA, has gone on to win at Road America and Indianapolis. If Reddick succeeds on Sunday, he will have won half of the road course competitions in 2022, making him an indefinite threat to be the favorite going forward on this style of course. While I still give the edge to Elliot, I like for Reddick to find the podium.

Top 5: AJ Allmendinger | +150 at DraftKings Sportsbook

He finished ninth at Road America, seventh at Indy again in July, and second at Watkins Glen. He also won Indy last year and finished top 3 on the penultimate lap of COTA.   Additionally, he has won this Xfinity Series event held here now three years in a row, and I think is a real threat to finish high again in this one.
