NASCAR South Point 400: Las Vegas Betting Picks & Predictions (2022)

The 33rd race of the 2022 season of NASCAR will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada at the 1.5-mile intermediate Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Over 267 laps, the race covers a distance of nearly 400 miles. Who will be able to successfully navigate the Vegas course at this point, and will anyone automatically progress to the Phoenix finals?

A week has passed since the Bank of America Roval 400, where Christopher Bell managed to slingshot past everyone to advance to the Round of 8. That race is the first of segment three, the second which will be decided here in Las Vegas.

NASCAR South Point 400: Las Vegas

Top 3: Christopher Bell | +230 at DraftKings Sportsbook

Fresh off his impressive win last week at Roval, don’t be surprised to see Bell right back in the mix here in Las Vegas. With four top fives in his last six playoff loops, Bell finished in the top at this track in each of his last two attempts.

Currently sitting #4 in the NASCAR Series Cup standings, I like for another strong performance from Bell in this one that puts him right in the mix as the season unfolds.

Top 3: Denny Hamlin | +150 at DraftKings Sportsbook

The winner here last year, Hamlin is right back at the top of the odds board currently sitting at +800 to repeat. With three top-four finishes at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Hamlin has some of the best on-track experience of anyone in this field.

Currently, 7th in the standings, a high finish here for Hamlin is critical.
