Eels' French in doubt for Knights clash
Aug 7, 2017 - 4:13 AM Parramatta fullback Bevan French is in major doubt for Friday's NRL clash with Newcastle after failing to train on Monday due to a hamstring injury.French came off at halftime in the Eels' win over Canterbury last week, with Josh Hoffman and Will Smith likely options to wear the No.1 against the Knights.
"I heard he got a grade one strain, but it's his hamstring. It definitely could be worse, but it's not too bad," skipper Tim Mannah said on Monday.
