Fiji suffer further injury blow
Sep 28, 2015 - 10:17 AM Fiji's build up to Thursday's World Cup match against Wales has received a setback with prop Isei Colati ruled out for the rest of the campaign with a knee injury, coach John McKee confirmed Monday.Taniela Koroi, based with the Italian club Mogliano, has been rushed in as a replacement.
McKee said Colati injured the knee during training in Swansea where Fiji are based ahead of the Wales clash.
Colati, who was named on the bench in Fiji's first two pool games against England and Australia is to return to his French Club USON for treatment and rehabilitation.
He is the second Fijian to see his tournament ended prematurely by injury. Winger Waisea Nayacalevu injured his right knee in the 28-13 defeat by the Wallabies.
