Kerr-Barlow back for Chiefs' rugby semi
Jul 28, 2016 - 4:29 AM Chiefs coach Dave Rennie has made multiple changes for Saturday night's Super Rugby semi-final against the Hurricanes, drafting in All Blacks halfback Tawera Kerr-Barlow and centre Seta Tamanivalu.Kerr-Barlow is promoted from the bench for the Hamilton-based outfit after his side's crushing 60-21 quarter-final win over the Stormers, while the Fiji-born Tamanivalu returns from a knee knock.
Incumbent halfback Brad Weber drops to the bench.
Elsewhere, the team retains the same shape as in South Africa.
Kane Hames, Nathan Harris and Atu Moli make up the front row, while Taleni Seu, Tom Sanders and co-captain Sam Cane will line up as loose forwards.
All Black and co-captain Aaron Cruden will don his No.10 jersey with youngster Anton Lienert-Brown moving into the centres.
On the bench, Japanese international Michael Leitch takes his spot after injuring his thumb in May against the Rebels.
Former All Black Stephen Donald has been omitted from the side.
