Sunderland sign Januzaj on loan
Aug 12, 2016 - 5:11 PM Sunderland have made their third signing from Manchester United in the space of two days on Friday with winger Adnan Januzaj joining on loan.Januzaj followed Paddy McNair and Donald Love, who moved permanently on Thursday, and manager David Moyes said it was a good opportunity for him to show his ability.
"Adnan needs to come and do the business," said former United manager Moyes.
"He will give us a different variation because he can play in two or three different roles, but I have to get him back to the level he was at two years ago.
"He will get plenty of opportunities with us and I believe in him because he's one of the finest young talents I've ever seen, and he was up there with Wayne Rooney when he was an 18-year-old." United manager Jose Mourinho said on Friday Januzaj was still in his long-term plans.
"That is why he is on loan at a Premier League club," Mourinho said.
"He is talented. But in the same squad as (Anthony) Martial, Memphis (Depay), (Ashley) Young etc, it could mean not many matches. We cannot be selfish.
"We have to think about the player. Let him play well. See him every week in this country. He is with a manager who likes him a lot but we want him back.
