Burns in, Jeggo out of Socceroos squad
Mar 18, 2017 - 6:10 AM Nathan Burns has earned a Socceroos reprieve, coming into Ange Postecoglou's 23-man squad to replace the injured Jimmy Jeggo.The uncapped Jeggo has been ruled out with a minor glute strain, with Burns recalled for the crucial upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Iraq and the United Arab Emirates.
Burns had been in Postecoglou's initial 30-man squad but was cut because of a lack of recent minutes for his Japanese club FC Tokyo.
