Central Coast sign Hoole from Newcastle
May 31, 2017 - 2:50 AM Central Coast's A-League recruiting drive has continued with forward Andrew Hoole joining from Newcastle.Hoole, 23, scored five goals in 26 games during the Jets' wooden-spoon winning campaign last season.
It was the local product's second stint in Newcastle after debuting in the 2012-13 season, before leaving for Sydney FC where he played 15 of his 91 A-League games.
He returned to the Jets last year.
"Last season you could see how far the club came under the guidance of Paolo (coach Paul Okon) and I am really looking forward to getting started," Hoole said.
He joins ex-Melbourne Victory defender Alan Baro, Dutch midfielder Tom Hiariej and former Western Sydney player Antony Golec as Mariners' arrivals for 2017-18.
Paul Izzo, Roy O'Donovan and Fabio Ferreira are among those to leave.
