Fever beat Mystics on last-second shot
Jul 30, 2011 - 1:20 AM Washington, DC (Sports Network) - The Indiana Fever took down the Washington Mystics, 61-59, after Shannon Bobbit knocked down a running bank shot with just 0.4 seconds left.After falling behind by two, Indiana tied the game at 59-59 with 1:39 left. Washington's Matee Ajavon missed two key shots down the stretch, and Indiana called a timeout with 13 seconds to go.
Bobbit then nailed the game-winner, her only basket of the contest.
Tamika Catchings dropped 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds and Tammy Sutton- Brown added 12 points for the Fever, winners of their last three.
Ajavon poured in 19 points while Crystal Langhorne added 17 points and seven boards for Washington, which has dropped its last four contests.
