Silver Stars down hapless Shock
Aug 7, 2011 - 3:09 AM San Antonio, TX (Sports Network) - Sophia Young had 20 points and Becky Hammon added 19, as the Silver Stars kept the Shock in a deep slide with a 72-64 victory at AT&T Center.Scholanda Robinson scored 12 points for San Antonio, which snapped a three- game slide thanks to a massive difference in points off turnovers. The Silver Stars scored 22 points off 26 Tulsa turnovers, while the Shock scored only six off 15 by San Antonio.
Tiffany Jackson had 27 points and 10 rebounds to lead Tulsa, which is 1-19 this season and has dropped 15 consecutive games.
