Dream sweep Sun, advance to East Finals
Sep 18, 2011 - 9:34 PM Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Erika de Souza was one of four Atlanta players to score 12 points, as the Dream rallied past the Connecticut Sun, 69-64, to sweep their Eastern Conference semifinal series.Sancho Lyttle, Lindsey Harding and Angel McCoughtry matched de Souza's point total. McCoughtry struggled from the field, converting just 4-of-16 shots.
De Souza also grabbed 10 rebounds.
Atlanta, which trailed by as many as 11, will face either Indiana or New York in the conference finals. That series will require a decisive third game.
Asjha Jones scored 15 points to pace the Sun, who got 13 points and 17 rebounds from Tina Charles.
