Pondexter powers Liberty to win over Dream
Jun 20, 2012 - 1:08 AM Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Cappie Pondexter recorded a double-double of 14 points and 13 assists, powering the New York Liberty to a 73-60 win over the Atlanta Dream.Essence Carson also scored 14 points for the Liberty, which made 50.8 percent of their shots Tuesday night at Philips Arena.
Kia Vaughn supplied 12 points for New York, which has won four of six after its 0-5 start.
Sancho Lyttle totaled 13 points and 13 rebounds in Atlanta's second straight loss.
