Moore, Lynx down Mystics
Jun 21, 2014 - 2:20 AM Minneapolis, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - Maya Moore had 20 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists as the Minnesota Lynx defeated the Washington Mystics, 75-65, on Friday night.Seimone Augustus netted 19 points, while Lindsay Whalen added 12 points and seven assists for the Lynx, who had dropped four of their last six games since beginning the year 7-0.
Kara Lawson scored 14 points off the bench and Kia Vaughn posted 10 points and 13 boards for Washington, which has lost six of its last seven contests.
Minnesota shot 46.4 percent (32-of-69) from the field while holding the Mystics to a 35.9 percent clip (23-of-64).
The Lynx, who led by as many as 17 in the first half, held a 43-34 advantage at the break and cruised to victory in the second half.
