Bird scores 22 as Storm beat Shock
Aug 11, 2014 - 3:45 AM Seattle, WA (SportsNetwork.com) - Sue Bird had 22 points and the Seattle Storm overcame a 13-point deficit to beat the Tulsa Shock by a 74-68 margin on Sunday.Camille Little and Crystal Langhorne added 16 and 12 points, respectively, for the Storm, who have won three in a row.
Skylar Diggins ended with 23 points for the Shock, who had a two-game winning streak snapped. Glory Johnson tallied 15 points and Courtney Paris recorded 11 points, 14 rebounds and three steals.
Seattle and Tulsa are tied for fifth in the Western Conference, two games behind San Antonio for the fourth and final playoff spot.
The Storm outscored the Shock by a 24-12 margin in the third quarter to get within one.
Seattle scored the first five points of the fourth and never looked back.
