McCoughtry leads Dream over Mystics
Jun 27, 2015 - 2:06 AM Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - Angel McCoughtry had 18 points and seven rebounds as the Atlanta Dream edged the Washington Mystics, 72-69, on Friday.Matee Ajavon scored 17 points while Sancho Lyttle added 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Dream, who had lost four of their last five coming in.
Ivory Latta scored 18 points and Emma Meesseman added 14 points and seven boards for the Mystics, who had a two-game winning streak halted.
Trailing by five at the break, the Dream took control of the game in the third, outscoring the Mystics by 12 points, to take a 52-45 lead into the fourth quarter.
Atlanta scored the first nine points of the final frame to take a 16-point lead, and was able to hold on the rest of the way.
