Jackson sits out second game with Achilles strain

Jul 20, 2009 - 12:48 AM SEATTLE(AP) -- Storm All-Star Lauren Jackson sat out her second game because of a strained Achilles tendon, missing Seattle's contest against the Minnesota Lynx.

Jackson also sat out against Sacramento on Friday. She was injured in the third quarter of Wednesday's home loss to Detroit.

The Australian forward hopes to return Wednesday against Los Angeles. Jackson is averaging 18.9 points and 6.7 rebounds this season.

Before Sunday's game, Jackson said she feels better every day, even though she still can't jump.
