Phillips, Fever beat Mystics for 6th straight win
Jul 10, 2011 - 1:19 AM Indianapolis, IN (Sports Network) - Erin Phillips had 14 points to lead five players in double figures and the Indiana Fever extended their winning streak to six games Saturday with a 68-57 victory over the Washington Mystics.Katie Douglas added 12 points, Jessica Davenport and Shavonte Zellous had 11 apiece and Tamika Catchings scored 10 for the Fever, who rallied from a 33-25 deficit at halftime.
They outscored Washington 24-17 in the third quarter and 19-7 in the fourth to beat the Mystics for the second time during their winning streak. The run began with a win over Washington on June 21.
Nicky Anosike scored 12 points and Marissa Coleman had 11 for the Mystics, who have lost three in a row. They are just 1-7 in their last eight games.
