Storm topple Sparks
Jul 10, 2011 - 4:15 AM Seattle, WA (Sports Network) - Swin Cash posted a game-high 26 points while Tanisha Wright poured in 21, as the Seattle Storm blew past the Los Angeles Sparks for a convincing 99-80 victory.Sue Bird posted 17 points and dished out eight assists for the Storm, who got 13 points from reserve Katie Smith and 12 points from center Lecoe Willingham.
Jantel Lavender scored 21 points with nine rebounds for the Sparks, who have dropped five straight. DeLisha Milton-Jones added 19 points in defeat while Kristi Toliver added 17 in the losing effort.
The Storm had a 32-point third quarter and led by as much as 29 points in the second half as they cruised to the easy win.
