Dream down Sparks for fifth straight win
Jul 29, 2011 - 1:42 AM Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Angel McCoughtry posted game-highs of 22 points and 11 rebounds, carrying the Atlanta Dream past the Los Angeles Sparks, 89-80.Armintie Price added 14 points in Atlanta's fifth straight win, while Iziane Castro Marques chipped in all 13 of her points in the second quarter, helping the Dream jump out to a 45-41 halftime lead they never relinquished.
Ebony Hoffman (16 points), Kristi Toliver (15) and Jenna O'Hea (14) paced the Sparks' offense. Ticha Penicheiro totaled 10 points and 11 assists in defeat, LA's fourth in a row.
