Playoff-bound Storm down Silver Stars
Sep 4, 2011 - 2:40 AM San Antonio, TX (Sports Network) - Swin Cash scored 14 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to help the Seattle Storm beat the San Antonio Silver Stars, 70-60.Sue Bird added 15 points and six assists while Lauren Jackson scored 13 points for the playoff-bound Storm, who won despite committing 19 turnovers.
Sophia Young paced San Antonio with 22 points. Danielle Robinson totaled just four points on 1-for-10 shooting in a losing cause.
The Silver Stars still hold the fourth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference with three games remaining.
