Mystics get by Lynx

Jun 9, 2013 - 1:26 AM Washington, DC (Sports Network) - Tierra Ruffin-Pratt's free throws inside of one second left in regulation, the last of her six points, helped Washington get past Minnesota, 85-80, on Saturday.

Seimone Augustus drained a three-pointer with six-tenths of a second remaining to pull Minnesota within 83-80, but Ruffin-Pratt was fouled immediately and was good from the charity stripe to help the hosts emerge victorious.

Ivory Latta led the Mystics with 24 points, while Monique Curry contributed 23 and Crystal Langhorne added 11 and six boards.

Maya Moore totaled 22 points and Rebekkah Brunson has 21 points along with a game-best 17 boards. Augustus ended with 21 points in defeat.

Washington led by as much as 11 points late in the third period, but Minnesota slowly clawed back into the contest.
