Faulkner leads Sky over Sparks
Jul 2, 2014 - 4:34 AM Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Jamierra Faulkner scored 27 points to lead the Chicago Sky to a 90-83 win over the Los Angeles Sparks on Tuesday.Epiphanny Prince added 15 points, Tamera Young scored 14 and Jessica Breland had 10 points and a game-high 11 rebounds for the Sky, who shot better than 52 percent from the field in their second straight win.
Nneka Ogwumike poured in 26 points and Candace Parker had 22 for the Sparks, who had a two-game winning streak snapped.
The Sky trailed 44-41 at halftime, then shot 75 percent while outscoring the Sparks 23-13 in the third quarter to take the lead for good.
