Bentley leads Sun over Storm
Jul 15, 2014 - 9:48 PM Seattle, WA (SportsNetwork.com) - Alex Bentley scored 22 points and the Connecticut Sun routed the Seattle Storm, 86-63, on Tuesday afternoon.Chiney Ogwumike tallied 14 points and 10 rebounds and Kelsey Bone added 16 points off the bench for the Sun, who snapped a three-game losing streak.
Camille Little had 14 points and Crystal Langhorne posted 11 points and six boards for Seattle, which has dropped three of its last four contests.
The Sun had a 39-30 advantage at halftime and led 44-37 in the third quarter before netting six straight points to give them a double-digit cushion, which they kept the rest of the way.
Connecticut shot 53 percent (35-of-66) from the floor and held a 41-24 rebounding margin.
