WNBA offering detailed box scores after each game
May 16, 2016 - 11:34 PM NEW YORK (AP) The WNBA announced Monday that it will offer detailed box scores after each game. They will include such categories as effective field goal percentage, player impact estimate, true shooting percentage and defensive rating.The box scores will be available on WNBA.com shortly after each game.
The league is also updating its archive with regular box scores from every game over its 20-year history. Currently every game since 2007 is available on the website. Soon every game from 1997-2006 will be added.
The league felt it was an important project with the league celebrating its 20th season. The WNBA has also launched a video vault that will feature highlights.
