Kyron Drones, Bhayshul Tuten and the Hokies fought hard and battled to the end, but came up just short. Drones finished the game with 235 total yards and 2 rushing touchdowns while Tuten carried the ball 9 times for 88 yards in the loss. Rasheen Ali rushed for 174 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win for Marshall.
