Damien Alford caught four passes for 83 yards. Dan Villari threw for 55 yards and ran for 37 yards. For South Florida, Byrum Brown was 19-26 for 214 yards and three touchdowns, and he ran the ball 14 times for 64 yards.

QB Tyler Buchner, who replaced previous Crimson Tide starter Jalen Milroe, was replaced in the second quarter by Ty Simpson after competing 5-of-14 passes for 34 YDS.
