    NHLPA asks NHL to move forward with investigation into Mike Babcock allegations

    The National Hockey League Players’ Association has asked the NHL to move forward with an investigation into the allegations Mike Babcock invaded players’ privacy during his time in Columbus, according to TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger. TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun reports that the NHL is awaiting word from the Oilers in regards to their plans with Babcock before taking any action.

    Connor McDavid wins a record-tying fifth Ted Lindsay award

    Edmonton Oilers superstar Connor McDavid has been named the winner of the Ted Lindsay Award for a record-tying fifth time, joining Wayne Gretzky as the only two players to ever win the award five times. McDavid finished with 138 points and went on to win the Art Ross Trophy as the league’s leading scorer for the sixth time.
