CLEVELAND 47, COLUMBUS 35 -------------------------

CLEVELAND (Ticker) -- Raymond Philyaw tossed six touchdown passes as the Cleveland Gladiators gained a postseason berth with a 47-35 triumph over the Columbus Destroyers.

Philyaw completed 20-of-27 passes for 269 yards for Cleveland (9-7).

Randy Hymes, who was making his Arena Football debut, had four catches for 78 yards and three scores.

Matt Nagy completed 24-of-43 passes for 293 yards and three touchdowns while C.J. Johnson had 11 catches for 173 yards and a score for Columbus (3-13).

GRAND RAPIDS 86, NEW ORLEANS 70 -------------------------------

NEW ORLEANS (Ticker) -- James MacPherson had 10 touchdowns to lead the Grand Rapids Rampage to an 86-70 triumph over the New Orleans VooDoo on Saturday.

MacPherson tossed seven scores and ran for three more to lead the Rampage (6-10).

Chris Johnson had two touchdown grabs for Grand Rapids, which has won three consecutive contests.

Danny Wimprine completed 27-of-41 passes for 358 yards and eight scores in a losing effort for New Orleans (8-8).

UTAH 62, ARIZONA 45 -------------------

PHOENIX (Ticker) -- Joe Germaine threw for six touchdowns, helping the Utah Blaze record a 62-45 victory over the Arizona Rattlers.

Germaine went 24-for-34 for 324 yards for the Blaze (6-10), who ended their season with a four-game winning streak.

J.J. McKelvey led Utah with 11 receptions for 146 yards and two scores.

Jeff Smoker finished 19-of-35 for 304 yards and five TDs for the Rattlers (8-8), who will host Grand Rapids in the first round of the playoffs. Siaha Burley led his team with nine catches for 146 yards and a score.

COLORADO 51, KANSAS CITY 27 ---------------------------

John Dutton three three touchdowns Saturday, leading the Colorado Crush to a 51-27 drubbing of the Kansas City Brigade.

Dutton completed 28-of-41 passes for 288 yards and connected on scoring passes with Willie Quinnie, Chris Watson and Ben Nelson.

The Crush (6-10) jumped out to a 14-0 lead and held a 30-14 edge at halftime. Colorado, which clinched a playoff berth for a fifth straight season due to a loss by the Los Angeles Avengers (5-11) earlier Saturday, will play a wild card game in Arizona (8-8) next week.

D. Bryant completed 16-of-26 passes for 229 yard and one TD for Kansas City (3-13).

TAMPA BAY 72, LOS ANGELES 47 ----------------------------

TAMPA, Florida (Ticker) -- Brett Dietz tossed six touchdowns, leading the Tampa Bay Storm to a 72-47 victory over the Los Angeles Avengers.

Dietz completed 27-of-39 passes for 327 yards for the Storm (8-8), who finished their season with a four-game home winning streak.

Lawrence Samuels led Tampa Bay with 11 catches for 99 yards and two touchdowns.

Sonny Cumbie completed 18-of-31 passes for 273 yards and five touchdowns, but also threw two interceptions for the Avengers (5-11), who allowed a league-worst 63 points per game this season.

SAN JOSE 68, GEORGIA 62 -----------------------

SAN JOSE, California (Ticker) -- Mark Grieb tossed nine touchdown passes as the San Jose SaberCats held off the Georgia Force, 68-62.

Grieb found Cleannord Saintil on seven of those scores for the Sabercats (13-5), who outscored the Force, 13-6, in the fourth quarter after trailing by one after three periods.

Grieb, who was 27-for-36 for 354 yards, found Saintil for a 31-yard, go-ahead score with 5:35 left to provide the final margin. Saintil had 12 catches for 155 yards.
