AFL Bulldogs re-sign Morris, Redpath, Webb
Sep 3, 2017 - 12:22 AM Dale Morris will saddle up for a 13th AFL season after re-signing at the Western Bulldogs on a one-year deal. He'll be joined by forward Jack Redpath and utility Lukas Webb, who have pledged their futures to the Bulldogs with new two-year contracts to stay at Whitten Oval.
Morris, who turns 35 in December, becomes the club's longest-serving player after the retirement of captain Bob Murphy.
"He's been a stalwart at our footy club for many, many years, and with his experience, toughness and work ethic, he's the ideal player to have around our young group as they continue to grow and mature," Bulldogs list manager Jason McCartney said.
"Dale's versatility down back is invaluable and we know he gives his all every time he pulls on the jumper."
Redpath kicked 15 goals in nine games in an injury-plagued 2017 season, while Webb played five games during the club's poor premiership defence.
