Josh Kelly wins Giants AFL champion award
Oct 6, 2017 - 11:46 AM Greater Western Sydney's All-Australian wingman Josh Kelly's eventful AFL season has ended with him winning the Kevin Sheedy Medal, the Giants' club champion award.Kelly's future at the Giants was a major topic of conversation throughout their campaign, before he signed a two-year contract extension during last month's finals.
The scrutiny didn't affect the skilful midfielder's form, as he produced career-best numbers and complemented his outside run with inside grunt
Kelly polled in every game he played, finishing with a club-record 198 votes.
Co-captains Callan Ward (172) and Phil Davis (153) were second and third, with All-Australian Dylan Shiel fourth on 152.
