Huck retains WBO cruiserweight belt with decision over Afolabi

May 5, 2012 - 11:30 PM Erfurt, Germany (Sports Network) - Marco Huck took a majority decision over Ola Afolabi to retain his WBO cruiserweight title on Saturday.

Germany's Huck (34-2-1, 25 KO) retained the belt over Afolabi (19-2-4, 9 KO) as two judges scored the fight 114-114 while the other scored it 115-113.

Huck nearly scored a knockout in the ninth as he caught Afolabi with a right, but the bell rung to save the Nigerian.
