Lions ink WR Foster to extension
May 15, 2012 - 10:24 PM Vancouver, BC (Sports Network) - The British Columbia Lions announced on Tuesday that wide receiver Akeem Foster had signed a contract extension.Foster, BC's fourth round selection in 2010, has appeared in 24 regular season games for the Lions. After being used primarily on special teams in 2010, Foster became a mainstay in BC's starting lineup in 2011.
Foster hauled in 33 catches for 593 yards and six touchdowns in 2011.
