Lions ink Bighill to extension
Dec 11, 2012 - 5:59 PM Vancouver, BC (Sports Network) - The British Columbia Lions have signed linebacker Adam Bighill to a contract extension.Bighill was selected to the CFL all-star team after leading the Lions with 104 tackles this past season.
"Adam demonstrated in 2012 that he is one of our league's rising stars and this is great news for fans of the BC Lions," said vice president of football operations and GM Wally Buono. "He's got a playmaker's instincts and the kind of explosive quickness that makes him unique among his peers."
Bighill also tied for the team lead with four interceptions and ranked second on the club with nine sacks.
