Eskimos release QB Jyles
Jan 21, 2013 - 10:01 PM Edmonton, AB (Sports Network) - The Edmonton Eskimos released quarterback Steven Jyles on Monday.Jyles started nine of the 10 games he played last season, completing 58.6 percent of his passes for 1,756 yards with six touchdowns and six interceptions.
"Steven is an outstanding professional that did everything asked of him. We really appreciate his professionalism and commitment to the team," says Edmonton head coach Kavis Reed.
The Eskimos acquired Jyles in a December 2011 trade with Toronto.
