CBs Marsh, Dennis staying with B.C. Lions
Feb 18, 2009 - 11:56 PM VANCOUVER, British Columbia (Ticker) -- The B.C. Lions on Wednesday announced that cornerbacks Dante Marsh and Jerome Dennis have signed contract extensions.Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
"Dante is a leader on and off the field and Jerome continues to develop into an effective defensive back and special teams player," Lions general manager and head coach Wally Buono said.
"Stability and consistency are very important to the effectiveness of our defense and these signings provide both of those."
Marsh, who has been named a West Division All-Star twice and a CFL All-Star in 2008, recorded 240 tackles and 13 interceptions in 80 games with the Lions.
Dennis has made 24 tackles in 26 games with the Lions.
