Bracewell pleads guilty to drink-driving
Apr 27, 2017 - 1:25 AM Black Caps cricketer Doug Bracewell has pleaded guilty to drink-driving after being caught at the wheel in Hawke's Bay more than three times over the legal limit.The 26-year-old bowler was pulled over on March 18 in Haumoana and found to have an alcohol reading of 783 micrograms in his system.
The legal limit is 250 micrograms.
Bracewell appeared at Hastings District Court on Thursday on charges of drink-driving and careless driving, and pleaded guilty to the former charge.
The charge of careless driving was withdrawn.
He will be sentenced next month.
