Nov 8, 2009 - 5:38 AM By OSKAR GARCIA Associated Press WriterLAS VEGAS(AP) -- Professional poker player Mike Sexton told a dinner crowd as he was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame that he's now the answer to a new trivia question.
Sexton said Saturday night that he's the first player to get into the hall after a voting process.
Sexton says he's overwhelmed by his inclusion in the hall given the other nominees who were finalists this year. He also thanked his family and others who have helped the game grow and evolve.
His 30-year playing career includes one World Series of Poker tournament win and about $3.7 million in career earnings.
Sexton was honored during a break at the final table of the World Series of Poker main event.
Sexton placed 420th tournament this year, winning $27,469 from a $61 million prize pool.
