JOHANNESBURG(AP) -- Algerian club Entente Setif boosted its chances of claiming a place in the next stage of the African Champions League with a 2-0 away win at US Douala of Cameroon in second-round, first-leg matches on the weekend.

Lazhar Hadj Aissa put Entente Setif ahead in the 21st minute and Lamouri Djediat doubled the lead for last year's African Confederation Cup finalists six minutes before halftime.

Dynamos capped a promising weekend for Zimbabwe teams by beating Eloi Lupopo of the Democratic Republic of Congo 1-0 at Eloi's Stade des Martyrs, a day after Gunners FC beat Egyptian giant Al Ahly.

Cuthbert Malakila scored against the run of play in the 73rd minute to lead Dynamos to a first leg win at Kinshasa.

Elsewhere Sunday, Mali's Djoliba edged Senegalese champion ASC Linguere 1-0 at the Stade Modibo Keita in Bamako, Africa Sports of Ivory Coast had a scoreless draw with Sudan's Al Hilal in Abidjan and Gazelle drew 1-1 with El Merreikh. Three-time winner Raja Casablanca of Morocco was also held 1-1 by Angolan champion Club Atletico Luanda at Raja's Stade Mohammed V.

Sunday's matches were the last six of 16 first leg games played over the weekend. The return matches will take place in two weeks.

This stage features 32 teams competing for places in the third round.

TP Mazembe of Congo, which lost 1-0 at Rwanda's APR FC in its second-round, first-leg match Saturday, is the defending champion.
