LPGA Championship's start postponed due to rain
Jun 6, 2013 - 4:48 PM Pittsford, New York (Sports Network) - The first round of the LPGA Championship, the tour's second major of the season, was suspended Thursday due to rain.The first round, which never began Thursday, was pushed back to a Friday start at Locust Hill Country Club. Eighteen holes will be played on both of the first two days, with the cut coming at the conclusion of Saturday's second round. Officials plan to play 36 holes on Sunday.
