Stiff neck sets back Dice-K
Mar 13, 2010 - 10:18 PM FORT MEYERS, Fla.(AP) -- Red Sox pitcher Daisuke Matsuzaka had his first scheduled throwing session of spring training canceled because of a stiff neck.Matsuzaka was slated to throw batting practice Saturday, but he never made it through warm ups.
Back problems have kept the Japanese right-hander behind schedule this spring and it was not immediately known when he might be able to pitch.
No one has shouted yet.
