Dodgers to host service for late Willie Davis
Mar 16, 2010 - 12:26 AM LOS ANGELES(AP) -- A memorial service for former Los Angeles Dodgers center fielder Willie Davis will be held at Dodger Stadium.The team says the private service is scheduled for Tuesday in the stadium's Dugout Club.
Davis was found dead in his Burbank home last week. He was 69.
He won two World Series and three Gold Gloves during 14 seasons with the Dodgers.
