Astros summon Lyles to start against Phils

May 15, 2012 - 9:18 PM Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - The Houston Astros recalled right-hander Jordan Lyles from Triple-A Oklahoma City to make a Tuesday start against the Phillies.

Lyles' second major-league outing this season found him allowing six hits and three runs -- one earned -- with four strikeouts over six innings in a no- decision as the Astros dropped a 4-3 decision in 10 innings.

To make room on the roster, Houston optioned pitcher David Carpenter to Oklahoma City.
