Tigers C Rodriguez leaves game with hamstring injury

Jun 21, 2007 - 1:14 AM WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- Detroit Tigers catcher Ivan Rodriguez left Wednesday's game against the Washington Nationals in the fourth inning with a hamstring spasm in his right leg.

He is listed as day-to-day.

Rodriguez was removed in the fourth after catching a pitch from Detroit righthander Jeremy Bonderman. The 17-year veteran immediately stood up and began walking toward the Tigers' dugout and was quickly replaced by backup Mike Rabelo.
