Padres OF Giles getting ready for rehab stint
Jun 26, 2007 - 1:21 AM SAN FRANCISCO (Ticker) -- San Diego right fielder Brian Giles is set to start a three-game rehab stint in the Class A California League on Monday.Giles has been out since May 19 with a bone bruise above his right knee, an injury he originally suffered a month earlier.
The right fielder is batting .276 with a homer and 12 RBI in 42 games. He was 3-for-27 just prior to going on the disabled list.
