Marlins' Ramirez leaves game

Jul 22, 2007 - 6:48 PM MIAMI (Ticker) -- Florida Marlins shortstop Hanley Ramirez left Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Reds in the first inning with a left shoulder subluxation.

He is listed as day-to-day.

The reigning National League Rookie of the Year sustained the injury after swinging at and missing a pitch from Bronson Arroyo. Ramirez dropped his bat and immediately grabbed the top his left shoulder.

Cody Ross was brought in to replace Ramirez, who leads the Marlins with a .336 batting average and 27 stolen bases.
